But it now seems that the society\u2019s volatile situation prevents the regime\u2019s media outlets to continue spreading propaganda, compelling them to acknowledge some aspects of the harsh reality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In its article on April 17, \u201cliving in the clutches of crisis,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/hamdelidaily.ir\/?post=32239\">state-run Hamdeli daily<\/a> admitted how precarious the situation for the regime is. \u201cThe crises continue to hurt the society as open wounds. Thus, for years, officials have used the term \u2018the current sensitive situation\u2019 instead of crisis,\u201d the paper wrote.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The regime is entangled in crises as the country is going through its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/editorial\/irans-freefall-economy-whos-to-blame\/\">worst financial crisis<\/a>. The current government of Ebrahim Raisi, an internationally wanted criminal, is bereft of any solution to Iran\u2019s economic crunch. Thus, it has started a blame game, accusing its predecessor. Besides, Raisi continues making hollow promises and brazenly boasting the situation has improved.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cThe government now claims everything has ended. Since it cannot do anything, it has started a blame game, and its claims about selling oil and restoring Iran\u2019s frozen funds fall on people\u2019s deaf ears, no one believes a word of [the establishment],\u201d the state-run <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mostaghelnewspaper.ir\/paper\/post\/41256\">Mostaghel daily wrote<\/a> in this regard on April 17.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cIf there has been any progress, why is it not evident in people\u2019s lives? Perhaps, the system has other priorities than people\u2019s lives,\u201d the paper added. \u201cWhen workers share their concerns, [Raisi] asks if they had lunch! In other words, there is a striking contrast between what the system says and what the people\u2019s demands are. This could lead to people destroying the [system] instead of repairing it. \u201c<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Other state-run newspapers on April 17 called out Raisi\u2019s empty gestures and expressed concerns about uprisings and protests, calling them riots and expressions of dissatisfaction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cIf we fail to have a clear and realistic approach to the current issues, we would soon face various crises and waves of riots and disaffections,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mardomsalari.ir\/newsletter\/213956\">state-run Mardom Salarie<\/a> wrote on April 17.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The fact that the water behind the dam, in this case, people\u2019s anger toward the regime, can longer be concealed was acknowledged by other state media, such as Sharq daily, on April 21.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Sharq daily, an outlet linked to the regime\u2019s so-called reformists faction, has worked for decades to maintain the regime\u2019s fa\u00e7ade of moderation and whitewash criminals like the regime\u2019s presidents Hassan Rouhani and Mohammad Khatami.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cIt seems that officials live in another world, far from people. They are always making harsh comments about people, spreading hatred. Meanwhile, most people feel that the country\u2019s economy is not on the path to revitalization. They see how corruption in different bodies and institutions prevents [people] from meeting their demands. One cannot ignore these facts,\u201d Sharq wrote.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The ongoing protests in Iran by people from all walks of life are testaments that these warnings and the agonizing fear among the regime\u2019s media are not unfounded.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The regime\u2019s decades of corruption, ineptitude, mismanagement, and squandering people\u2019s wealth on terrorism have turned Iran into a powder keg. The last eight uprisings confirm this volatility.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As the <a href=\"https:\/\/hamdelidaily.ir\/?post=32452\">state-run Hamdeli daily<\/a> acknowledged on April 21, \u201cWe created this situation.
