The list contains 2,567 rows of names of prisoners, 294 of whom have been repeated due to the variety of charges and attributed offenses. As a result, the total number of unique names is 2,273, of which 1,552 are convicted, and 721 are accused. The charges and convictions include the following:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cInsulting the Supreme Leader;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cInsulting Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic.;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cInsulting the Statues of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cInsulting the great leader of the revolution;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cInsulting the sanctities, insulting the country&#8217;s officials;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cInsulting the Supreme Leader, insulting Islam\u2019s sanctities, and destroying public property;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cInsulting the Supreme Leader, connection with a terrorist group;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cPractical and verbal insult to a government official,\u201d \u201cdisturbing the order of the court;\u201d and<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">false accusations and other charges under the pretexts of \u201cinsulting Imam Reza\u201d and \u201cinsulting the Prophet and the Imams and the sanctities.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">In the terminology of the clerical regime\u2019s judiciary, Khomeini and Khamenei are considered to be \u201csacred.\u201d \u201cIslamic sanctities\u201d mean the symbols of the mullahs\u2019 regime. Similarly, the \u201cdestruction of public property\u201d means torching banners, signs, and images of the regime leaders and torching the symbols of the regime\u2019s centers of repression and plunder.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">Some of the other \u201ccrimes\u201d on this list are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMembership in the opposition communities of the country:\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMembership and activity in dissident groups;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cGathering and colluding to commit crimes against national security;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMoharebeh (Waging War on God) and corruption on earth;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cPropaganda activity against the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMembership in anti-regime groups and propaganda activities by setting fire to \u00a0\u00a0banners with a picture of commander <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-a-fundamentalism\/who-was-the-vicious-criminal-qassem-soleimani\/\" rel=\"noopener\">(Qassem) Soleimani<\/a>;\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cJoining a group to undermine national security (Resistance Units), working for the benefit of dissident groups by writing graffiti and sending video footage to the hypocrites (a pejorative term used by the regime to demonize the Mujahedin-e Khalq-MEK);\u201d<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMembership in the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/about-iranian-opposition-pmoi-mek\" rel=\"noopener\">Mujahedin-e Khalq<\/a> (MEK\/PMOI), propaganda activities against the regime, insulting the Imam and the leadership, cooperation with hostile foreign countries, taking photos of office buildings under the guise of news reporting, and introducing it as a torture chamber;\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">It is worth mentioning that according to the report of the Statistics Office of the Prisons Organization in July 2020, in addition to 267 prisons, detention centers, camps, and penitentiaries belonging to the Prisons Organization,(below) the State Security Force (SSF) and the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) control 159 and 147 separate detention centers, respectively, which has now increased even further.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" align=\"center\">The status of the Prisons&#8217; population:<\/p>\n<table
