He was convicted of allegedly killing a high-ranking police officer in February 2022 who had harassed Iman and blackmailed this deprived worker for years. On July 28, Iran\u2019s ruling theocracy hanged a soldier in Rasht, northern Iran, for allegedly killing a high-ranking officer. In addition, three other prisoners were hanged in Sanandaj prison, northwestern Iran.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">On Wednesday, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/human-rights\/stop-executions-in-iran\/baluch-cleric-hanged-after-15-years-of-imprisonment\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">clerical regime hanged<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> four other prisoners, including three women, in different prisons across the country. Most victims were members and supporters of the regime\u2019s arch enemy, the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/about-iranian-opposition-pmoi-mek\" rel=\"noopener\">People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran<\/a> (PMOI\/MEK). Khomeini decided to massacre thousands of Iranian youths in a bid to strengthen his regime\u2019s grip on power, as he faced a war-torn but volatile society amid the regime\u2019s increasing international isolation.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The increasing number of executions in Iran is not haphazard. They are the genocidal regime\u2019s carefully planned attempt to quell the society, as protests by people from all walks of life, continue expanding across the country.
