MOIS Website Warns About MEK’s Influence in Iran<\/h3>\n

A website affiliated with the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) demonstrated Tehran’s intensified concerns about the influence of the Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MEK\/PMOI) inside Iran’s society, especially among Iranian youth.<\/p>\n

“With the significant growth of social networks, the hypocrites (regime’s description to defame the MEK inside the country) made this platform the main place of their activities against the Islamic Republic… and for example, during the protests of 2017 or 2019, besides their field activities, they tried to turn the protests into violence while at the same time, they tried to make new recruits,” Mosalasonline<\/a> wrote today.<\/p>\n

“The hypocrite activists are trying to highlight the views and opinions of the leaders of the organization while updating and strengthening the mental and operational powers of their members and old sympathizers, and the performance of the organization in the minds of the public, especially the young generation, who are unaware of their history during the first years of the revolution.”<\/p>\n

Two Iranian women have been sentenced to death for their sexual orientation.<\/p>\n

The Revolutionary Court of Urmia has sentenced to death Zahra Sedighi Hamedani, 31, and Elham Choobdar, 24, for their homosexual orientation. They are accused of \u201cspreading corruption on earth\u201d by promoting \u201chomosexuality\u201d and \u201cChristianity.\u201d<\/p>\n

The authorities of the\u00a0Central Prison of Urmia<\/a> informed the two women of their sentences on September 3, 2022. Zahra Sedighi Hamedani, also known as Sareh, comes from Naghadeh, a city in West Azerbaijan Province. Elham Choobdar comes from Urmia, the province\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n
