State Officials Warn Against MEK<\/h3>\n

In a meeting with a group of Sharif University officials in Tehran, the Iranian regime’s president Ebrahim Raisi<\/a> discussed the recent crackdown on this college and said: “The United States, the hypocrites (the regime’s term to slander the MEK) and other enemies of the country tried to pursue their anti-Iranian and anti-revolutionary goals inside Sharif University. We are sure that this university will not allow ill-wishers and the MEK to disrupt this place.”<\/p>\n

Hossein Daghighi<\/a>, the IRGC commander-in-chief’s advisor also said on October 5: “Since the middle of last year, the MEK had planned to create an army of thugs in Tehran and bring them to the field on a certain day and create a disaster that won’t be forgotten throughout Iran’s history. But one night before this action, a thousand evil people were identified and arrested by the police, the IRGC, and Intelligence.<\/p>\n

Iran Protests Continued on Thursday<\/h3>\n

Today, October 6, marked the 21st day of the national uprising in Iran. Iranians continued protests and strikes. So far, nationwide demonstrations have been recorded in more than 170 cities all over the country. According to the MEK, in less than four weeks, 400 people have been martyred and 20,000 were arrested by the regime’s brutal security apparatus.<\/p>\n
