\"NCRI<\/p>\n

To Date, Names of 280 Martyrs of the Uprising Have Been Published by the PMOI<\/h3>\n

The People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran<\/a> (PMOI\/MEK) published the names of 20 more martyrs of the Iranian People\u2019s Uprising. The names of 280 men and women who have laid down their lives for the freedom of their homeland have been made public so far.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, said the heroic martyrs who laid down their lives for freedom reflect the unwavering resolve of the Iranian people to bring down the dictatorship of the velayat-e faqih (absolute rule of the clergy). These martyrs are the sacrifice of our nation for the cause of freedom and people\u2019s sovereignty, promising the end of religious fascism.<\/span><\/p>\n
