Do you want to attain power with the criminal hypocrites [MEK] who betrayed this nation? Despite its violent attempts, Iran\u2019s ruling theocracy failed to quell the restive society, and protests broke out across Iran. Brave university students, who have been acting as trailblazers of this uprising, clashed with security forces in dozens of universities. They said we don\u2019t want your amnesty. Seek one for yourself, as you won\u2019t be in power for long.\u201d <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The incessant protests and the Iranian people\u2019s steadfastness in their goal of having a free and democratic country have amazed the world community. Many Western democracies have supported their bravery. But these vocal supports would not stop the regime\u2019s brutality. Iran\u2019s clerical regime has been continuing its killing spree. In a country where a mass murderer like Ebrahim Raisi is selected as president, asking the government to stop its violence is more irrelevant and futile than demanding an arsonist to put out the fire. The only way to end the current crisis of impunity in Iran and effectively help Iranians is to recognize their right to self-defense.
