Number of protesters killed in 231 cities exceeds 600 of whom 446 identified<\/h3>\n

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) announced today, November 17, that the number of people killed on Wednesday, November 16, across the country reached at least 40 people, the names of 19 of whom are listed below. The identities of the rest will be published after verification. At least 4 of the victims are between 10 and 17 years old.<\/p>\n

The number of people killed in 231 cities during the nationwide uprising has exceeded 600 in the last 62 days. So far, the names of 446 of them have been published.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a> said that Khamenei committed yet another crime against humanity with the brutal killing in Izeh. Kian Pirfalak, an innocent 10-year-old boy who was shot by plainclothes agents, is the symbol of Iran\u2019s oppressed nation and the brutality of the mullahs’ regime, which killed more than 50 people in just two days on November 16 and 17. She added such an atrocious crime will only intensify the flames of the uprising until the ruling criminals are rooted out forever. The courts of democratic Iran await them in the near future.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Rajavi called on the United Nations Security Council and the European Union to put an end to their inaction and said that negotiating and dealing with a regime that remains in power only through massacres and crimes against humanity is a mockery of the universally recognized principles of human rights.<\/p>\n
