It is worth noting that last week, he bragged about terminating the uprising amid the protests across the country with people chanting \u201cDeath to Khamenei.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">November 25 &#8211; Zahedan, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Iran?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Iran<\/a> <br \/>Protesters chanting: &quot;Kurds and Baluch are brothers, they hate [Khamenei]!&quot;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/IranRevolution2022?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#IranRevolution2022<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/%D9%85%D8%B1%DA%AF_%D8%A8%D8%B1_%D8%B3%D8%AA%D9%85%DA%AF%D8%B1_%DA%86%D9%87_%D8%B4%D8%A7%D9%87_%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%B4%D9%87_%DA%86%D9%87_%D8%B1%D9%87%D8%A8%D8%B1?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#\u0645\u0631\u06af_\u0628\u0631_\u0633\u062a\u0645\u06af\u0631_\u0686\u0647_\u0634\u0627\u0647_\u0628\u0627\u0634\u0647_\u0686\u0647_\u0631\u0647\u0628\u0631<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/JpiFvzKem5\">pic.twitter.com\/JpiFvzKem5<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; People&#39;s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) (@Mojahedineng) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Mojahedineng\/status\/1596090958550269953?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 25, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thus, many observers consider Khamenei\u2019s contradictory remarks on Saturday a clear sign of a desperate dictator seeking a way out of a lethal deadlock.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, Khamenei settled down his score with the rival faction, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-a-world\/revealing-true-nature-of-the-so-called-reformists-in-iran\/?amp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">so-called reformists<\/a>, who have been earnestly advising him to yield under domestic and international pressure, give them their share of power, and acknowledge \u201chearing people.\u201d\u00a0 This faction, which has been involved in the regime\u2019s crimes against people for years, had been trying to lay the blame for the regime\u2019s violence in the recent uprising and the country\u2019s problems on \u201crogue officials\u201d while presenting a dictator like Khamenei as a \u201ccaring father for the nation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cYou should act as a caring father to solve problems between the ruling system and people,\u201d wrote the state-run Etemad a so-called \u201cmoderate\u201d daily on November 16.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThey write and clearly say we should hear the people\u2019s voice and settle our scores with the United States. What does this mean? We should pay ransom to the great Satan, and once we do it, they want more,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/farsi.khamenei.ir\/news-content?id=51412\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Khamenei said in his speech<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also added that Tehran by no means is willing to back down from its nuclear ambitions, once again proving that Western governments\u2019 endeavors to revive the highly flawed 2015 Iran nuclear deal have been futile and chasing the wind.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">About \u201chearing the people,\u201d Khamenei reminded the rival faction officials to join the state-controlled ceremonies and hodgepodges, denouncing the organized opposition and people\u2019s demand for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/2021\/10\/11\/iranians-are-crying-out-for-regime-change-not-nuclear-power-the-west-should-listen-view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">regime change<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While referring to the regime\u2019s failed state-staged protests on the anniversary of Iran\u2019s hostage crisis on November 4, he said: \u201cThey brag about having a political understanding, but their analysis and words in some newspapers and on social media really disappoint me. They say to hear people\u2019s demands. How about you? Did you hear them during the protests on November 4?\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The outcome of the uprising is that the Velayat-e Faqih regime\u2019s overthrow is inevitable. The suffering and sacrifice of the Iranian people have turned into a weapon firing at Khamenei and his oppressive rule and will eventually destroy the regime.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/IranRevolution?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#IranRevolution<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/QcojhmPXjE\">pic.twitter.com\/QcojhmPXjE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Maryam Rajavi (@Maryam_Rajavi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Maryam_Rajavi\/status\/1591348445675417601?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 12, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a nutshell, Khamenei\u2019s remarks highlighted that Iran\u2019s ruling theocracy is in a deadlock vis-\u00e0-vis the current revolution and how taking even \u201cone step\u201d backward could result in the regime\u2019s immediate downfall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The so-called \u201creformist\u201d faction had been of great service to Khamenei, acting as the fa\u00e7ade of this brutal regime in order to deceive the world. Officials of this faction have been actively involved in crimes against humanity and stifling any voice of dissent in the last four decades. Naturally, their goal is to preserve the regime, as they see their interest in the ruling theocracy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But Khamenei cannot accept the slightest rift in his regime. Following the major Iran Protests in November 2019, and after seeing the role of Iran\u2019s organized opposition- <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK)<\/a>&#8211; Khamenei determined to consolidate power in his regime. He first handpicked the parliament and purged the rival faction. In 2021, he pulled Ebrahim Raisi, an unscrupulous murderer, out of the ballot box. Raisi became the regime\u2019s president only for his role in the regime\u2019s crackdown, particularly his crucial role in the 1988 massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners, mostly MEK members.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now, Khamenei faces a revolution with the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iranian-resistance-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MEK\u2019s Resistance Units<\/a> network playing a leading role in organizing these protests, as acknowledged by the regime\u2019s authorities. His answer to the nationwide uprising is more violence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As Khamenei vowed to continue his killing spree, the world community should react accordingly. The Iranian people have continued their protests despite the regime\u2019s attempts to quash them. The only meaningful support of the Iranian revolution is the world recognizing the people\u2019s right to self-defense.
