paramilitary Bassij, the Revolutionary Guards, and other suppressive agencies in different parts of Tehran and many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/iran-protests\/26821-iran-portraits-of-resistance-s-leadership-posted-in-tehran-other-cities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Iranian cities<\/a>, including Mashhad, Isfahan, Tabriz, Orumiyeh, Karaj, Khoy, Maaku, Marand, Boroujered, Jolfa, Kermanshah, Sabzevar and Bazargan.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/iran-protests\/26794-iran-defiant-youths-torch-regime-symbols-in-different-cities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">defiant youths<\/a> also defaced or set ablaze pictures of Khomeini, Ali Khamenei, the current supreme leader, and other regime symbols in hundreds of locations in different Iranian cities.<\/p>\n<p>In their nationwide uprising, the people of Iraq have also set fire and defaced pictures of Khamenei, expressing their revulsion over the occupation of their country by the religious fascism ruling Iran and demanding the Iranian regime\u2019s eviction from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-fundamentalism\/26771-iranian-regime-s-militias-deployed-snipers-in-iraq-protests-reuters\"
