BBC editors, however, have removed and censored more than half of it in the version posted on the BBC websites. It is quite astounding that the BBC has engaged in \u201ccensorship of an already censored content.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some of the censored content include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The remarks and comments by former Manez mayor regarding the trust that the Albanian people and he personally have placed in the MEK, as well as his visit to Ashraf-3;<\/li>\n<li>Comments and remarks regarding the local residents\u2019 relations with the MEK by two young Albanians, 15 and 18, whose impoverished father works at Ashraf-3;<\/li>\n<li>Comments and remarks by Diana \u00e7uli, writer, women&#8217;s rights activist, and former member of parliament from Albania&#8217;s socialist party, regarding the ideals, viewpoints, and conduct of the MEK, as well as their interpretation of Islam;<\/li>\n<li>The story of a MEK female member, Somayyeh Mohammadi, and her interview with Albanian prosecutors, statements by Albania&#8217;s judicial bodies and those of her lawyer Margarita Kola, regarding the regime\u2019s disinformation campaign;<\/li>\n<li>Intimidating emails sent by the mullahs&#8217; Intelligence Ministry and operatives to the lawyer, containing vulgar profanities she could not repeat in the interview; and terrorist threats against the lawyer and her daughter who is studying in Austria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is just the latest example of what the late legendary Iranian poet Ahmad Shamlou described as &#8220;the dastardliest type of censorship&#8221; practiced by the BBC, and reminiscent of its hostility towards the revered Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mossadeq and his Foreign Minister Dr. Hossein Fatemi. It also explains why the Iranian people refer to the BBC as \u201cthe Ayatollah\u201d BBC.
