Here are the latest updates <\/span>on<\/span> the nationwide Iran protests for regime change which erupted in mid-November. <\/span>More than a dozen United Nations human rights experts on Friday called on the Iranian regime to release all individuals arbitrarily detained and mistreated during recent protests<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the <\/span>People\u2019s <\/span>Mojahedin<\/span> Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)<\/span><\/a> the Iranian regime has killed at least 1500 <\/span>protesters<\/span>. The United States on Thursday blacklisted two notorious Iranian ‘judges’ who have handed extremely harsh sentences to Iranian dissidents, and it stands with the brave people who have taken part in the recent\u00a0nationwide Iran protests<\/a>, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the State Department on December 19, 2019,\u00a0<\/span>Secretary Pompeo said<\/span><\/a>: “The United States will stand and has stood under President Trump with the Iranian people. Our public support, our moral support is important.\u00a0 Our calls for justice matter.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“The\u00a0protest\u00a0<\/a>that started and accelerated in November clearly signaled that the Iranian people have just had enough.\u00a0 They\u2019re fed up. EU Parliament Condemns Iran Regime\u2019s Deadly Crackdown on Iran Protests\u00a0<\/a><\/h3>\n

The European Parliament adopted a resolution on Thursday, condemning the Iranian regime\u2019s deadly crackdown on the\u202f<\/span>Iran protests<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Polish lawmaker Anna Fotyga, on behalf of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group, on Monday proposed a motion at the European Parliament on the Iranian regime\u2019s slaughter of defenseless protesters.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We already know that around\u00a01,500 people have been killed<\/a>\u00a0in Iran during the recent crackdown,” said Ms. Fotyga, a member of the Parliament\u2019s Foreign Affairs Committee and a former Foreign Minister of Poland.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
