Gen. Fariborz Behravesh said, &#8220;The Customs police will be created to increase the security of passengers. In its first stage it includes 39 cities which eventually will be extended to the rest of the country.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>From the start of the year, this has been the eleventh police force which has been set up to suppress popular uprisings and demonstrations. The previous forces are as follows: District Police, Youth Police, Dormitory Police, Undercover Police, Mountain Police, Mehr Police, Metro Police, School Police, Women&#8217;s Police, and Tourism Police.
