This clip shows protests between September 19 to 23 in the capital Tehran, as well as Karaj, Rasht, Qom, Hamedan, Kashmar, and other cities.\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"lL\" style=\"max-width:100%;width:853px;margin:5px;\"><\/div><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Yet, the return of the deposed monarchy in Iran has made ambiguity in recent months. The decayed monarchy is being marketed by the son of the Shah, Reza Pahlavi, and remnants of the regime that millions of Iranians ousted this dictatorship in 1979.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Recently, Reza Pahlavi has been accompanied by several celebrities and some figures like Masih Alinejad, once a state reporter in Iran affiliated with the so-called reformist faction. This self-proclaiming opposition, headed by Pahlavi, speaks of unity and apparently promotes freedom and pluralism. Despite their deafening cries of \u201cunity,\u201d Pahlavi and Alinejad keep slandering Iran\u2019s principal opposition group, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/pmoi-mek\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK)<\/a>, and its parent coalition of democratic forces, the National Council of Resistance of Iran.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Besides, Pahlavi and his ilk refuse to denounce <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" rel=\"noopener\">his father&#8217;s dictatorship<\/a> and past crimes and corruption of monarchy in Iran, they also refuse to provide an agenda or a program for the future of Iran. They dodge questions about crucial issues, saying that these issues should be resolved after regime change. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In his remarks on the Munich Security <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-resistance\/munich-security-conference-assured-tehran-more-than-it-warned\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Conference\u2019s sidelines<\/a>, Reza Pahlavi claimed he \u201cprefers republic\u201d but believes \u201celected monarchy should also be weighed.\u201d The latter is indeed an oxymoron. Iranians cast their votes against the absolute rule of the king in 1979 and still refuse any return to that time.\u00a0 Reza Pahlavi\u2019s ridiculous comparison of Iran with constitutional monarchies in Europe is another blatant yet inept action and deliberate negligence of the geo-political and historical issues in Iran and the Middle East.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Another important issue that Shah\u2019s offspring and his entourage refuse to address is the rights of Iran\u2019s ethnic minorities and nationalities, who have been immensely suffering for centuries. Reza Pahlavi and his supporters accuse Iranian Kurds of separationism and attack them in broad daylight. The recent attack of Pahlavi\u2019s thugs against MEK supporters and Kurdish Iranians at a rally in Brussels has not been condemned by any member of the so-called \u201copposition coalition.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">What else is expected from those who raised the posters of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-protests\/iran-revolutions-persistence-brings-a-criminal-parviz-sabeti-to-spotlight\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Parviz Sabeti<\/a>, a notorious torturer of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/1979\/06\/18\/archives\/savak-agent-describes-how-he-tortured-hundreds-trial-is-in-a-mosque.html\" rel=\"noopener\">Shah\u2019s secret police, SAVAK<\/a>, in their rally in Munich?\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For Iranians who have the bitter experience of Ruhollah Khomeini and how he hijacked the 1979 revolution, Reza Pahlavi and Co.\u2019s approach to postpone everything to the future is indeed a grave concern. Khomeini didn\u2019t start attacking and ranting about dissidents while he was abroad but began his killing spree once he arrived in Tehran. What will Reza Pahlavi do once in power in Iran when he keeps slandering the MEK and his supporters attack dissidents abroad?\u00a0 Khomeini\u2019s famous motto of \u201call together\u201d meant \u201call with me.\u201d Now the self-proclaimed \u201copposition figures\u201d are also saying us or chaos.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">By limiting the Iranian people\u2019s choice between evil and lesser evil, Reza Pahlavi and his entourage are sowing discord and negatively impacting the ongoing uprising.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Unlike the amalgam of reformists and remnants of dictators, the NCRI and its president-elect, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\" rel=\"noopener\">Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, have outlined their plan for the future of Iran. Mrs. Rajavi\u2019s <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/maryam-rajavis-ten-point-plan-for-future-iran\/\" rel=\"noopener\">ten-point plan<\/a> recognizes autonomy for Iranian Kurdistan as a model to be used for other ethnic minorities and commits to the establishment of a pluralistic and democratic republic founded on universal suffrage and pluralism.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In a nutshell, transparency comes before unity. Who would unite with those who advocate for the return of another tyranny or are in \u201cbilateral contact\u201d with the terrorist Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), as Reza Pahlavi said?<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Iranian people and their organized Resistance movement want and endeavor to realize their long-time goal of freedom and democracy. This grand gathering was in solidarity with the current revolution in the making in Iran and also a tribute to the 1979 anti-monarchial revolution. During Sunday\u2019s event, the freedom-loving Iranians in Paris echoed the voice of their risen compatriots by chanting the popular slogans in Iran, such as \u201cDeath to the oppressor, be it Shah or the mullahs.\u201d This slogan proves the democratic nature of the current uprising and how the ongoing protests and Iranians are loyal to the democratic heritage and essence of the 1979 revolution, which was sadly hijacked by the ruling theocracy.
