She was in Tehran with her family to visit her relatives. On September 13, 2022, she was arrested near the Haqqani metro station in Tehran for improper veiling.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">She was then transferred to the Morality Police headquarters. Some two hours later, Mahsa\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/women.ncr-iran.org\/2022\/09\/15\/zhina-amini-goes-into-coma\/\" rel=\"noopener\">fell into a coma<\/a>\u00a0after being severely beaten by police.
