This has led to an increase in the repression of women, particularly in relation to the enforcement of the hijab and the widespread poisoning of female students, which has become more prevalent in recent days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">On Sunday, April 9th, it was reported that agents of the regime had poisoned students in six girls&#8217; schools in Saqqez, including Meraj, Taleghani, and Samiya schools. At least 47 students were taken to the hospital as a result, with 20 students reported to be in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Following the poisoning of students in Saqqez, the people of the city, along with students and their families, took to the streets in protest. Fires were lit in the streets, and the protesters chanted the slogan &#8220;Death to Khamenei.&#8221; However, the situation turned violent when the special police unit was deployed and opened fire in the Shahnaz neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The students of Jamaran girls&#8217; schools in Sanandaj and Esmet in Zarineh (Kurdistan province) were reportedly attacked with poison gas. Additionally, in Maragheh, 30 students of Qudsiyeh school in Varjoi village were taken to the hospital due to poisoning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, the Deputy Director of the Health Ministry has stated that less than 10% of the students who were affected by the poisoning had respiratory stimulants that caused symptoms such as coughing, shortness of breath, and irritation. The official added that some emotional factors may have also contributed to these symptoms, such as anxiety caused by seeing a friend in distress.
