Almost two years after his appointment as the regime\u2019s president, Raisi\u2019s devastating policies<\/a> and mismanagement have exacerbated Iran\u2019s financial calamity, with inflation hovering above 50% and prices of consumer goods continuing to skyrocket.<\/p>\n What has been Raisi\u2019s reaction? Making hollow promises! Here is a list of his lies since 2021:<\/p>\n Yet, since his appointment in 2021, Raisi has miserably failed to \u201ccontrol inflation.\u201d Even the engineered statistics by Iran\u2019s state media and institutions indicate rampant inflation and unprecedentedly high prices. For example, from March 2022 to May 2023, the prices of red meat, cooking oil, sugar, and dairy products increased by 34, 32, 27, and 26 percent, respectively.<\/p>\n \u201cThese days everyone speaks of high inflation caused by the government\u2019s budget deficit,\u201d wrote the state-run Eskenas newspaper on May 1.
