The recent documents obtained by the “GhyamSarnegouni”<\/a> dissident group shed light on how Iran\u2019s regime prioritizes the needs of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), particularly under President Ebrahim Raisi. These documents, posted on the group’s Telegram channel on June 10, reveal the correspondence between the Chief of Staff office of the presidential organization and the IRGC commander in East Azerbaijan Province.<\/p>\n

One document shows the IRGC commander, Asghar Abbas Qholizadeh, requesting permission from Raisi’s office to relocate a university and transfer its land and properties to the Guards. This request is made citing security reasons. Interestingly, the second document indicates a prompt response from Raisi’s office, approving the request just one day after the initial letter.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the second set of letters reveals the same commander’s appeal for funding and land to establish a new IRGC<\/a> camp. Specifically, the commander requests funds from the budget allocated by the presidential organization for its own travels.<\/p>\n

These documents provide substantial evidence of the Iranian regime’s prioritization of the IRGC, highlighting the influence and control exerted by the organization.<\/p>\n

Respectfully, this message serves as a reminder about the proximity of certain facilities in Tabriz. Specifically, the Ashura Corps headquarters is located in the northern part of the mentioned college. Additionally, the regional headquarters of Ashura, the 60 Resalat Artillery missile group, and the Ammar security unit is situated in the eastern and southern parts of the college and training camp. It’s important to note that there is an ammunition storage center in the western and southern parts of the college near the Martyr Madani complex of the IRGC Ground Force.<\/p>\n

This arrangement contradicts the principles of classification, privacy, and tactical security measures. According to Resolution No. 22871-97\/AD\/T\/52244 by the honorable Board of Ministers, the barracks in Tabriz are classified as sensitive. The resolution requires the establishment of a 50-meter protective space and a 500-meter security space in neighboring areas.<\/p>\n

In light of these concerns, we kindly request that the college in question be relocated to a different site. It would be beneficial to hand over the current location to the provincial IRGC unit to enhance the security of their sensitive locations and address the perceived threats.<\/p>\n
