Fearing the growing discontent and opposition from the Iranian people, the clerical regime has prioritized security measures by expanding its extensive and complex security apparatus. Recently leaked documents from the regime’s Presidential Organization reveal that the Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) has been actively seeking official ownership of a 10,000 square meter plot of land in Dalahu County, Kermanshah province, for the construction of a new MOIS facility.<\/p>\n

This is the latest in a series of documents revealed by \u201cGhyamSarnegouni,\u201d<\/a> a dissident group that infiltrated the servers of the presidential organization in May and obtained a large trove of classified documents. Other documents obtained by the Iranian dissident group show that the regime\u2019s Vice President approves funding for another MOIS unit in Qazvin province.<\/p>\n

Correspondence between various officials and local authorities indicates that the MOIS is determined to keep the purpose of the new building a secret. They are urging all parties involved to grant permission without disclosing the true nature of the entity being established. This secretive approach is employed mainly in a region where dissent and opposition against the regime are reaching unprecedented levels.<\/p>\n
