Khamenei’s agents opened fire on demonstrators in Zahedan, injuring at least 19 people<\/em><\/h3>\nToday, on September 29, commemorating the massacre of September 30, 2022, the courageous Baluch compatriots in the cities of Zahedan, Rask, Khash, Sooran, Taftan, and others, despite extensive suppressive measures, took to the streets after Friday prayers, facing gunfire and tear gas with determination.<\/p>\n
Protesters chanted slogans such as “Death to Khamenei,” “Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader (i.e. Khamenei),” “I will avenge my brother’s blood,” “Basiji, IRGC, you are our ISIS,” \u201cKhodanour was killed by mercenaries\u201d, \u201cthe Baluch prefer death to humiliation,\u201d “Death to this regime that commits rape and murder\u201d and demonstrated their unwavering determination\u00a0to overthrow the religious fascism ruling Iran.<\/p>\n
In the city of Zahedan, criminal agents of Khamenei’s regime attacked demonstrators in Shirabad, Moshtarak, Keshavarz, and Khayyam areas, shooting at them. At least 19 people, including several children, were wounded. The mercenaries also launched tear gas inside Makki Mosque, but the resolute and brave people of Zahedan stood their ground, forcing the mercenaries to retreat with chants of “Fear not, we stand united” and “Shameless, shameless.”<\/p>\n
In Khash, after Friday prayer, the people rallied with chants of “Death to Khamenei” and “Death to the dictator.” In Rask, Sooran, and Taftan, despite the onslaught of repressive forces, people demonstrated with slogans like “Death to Khamenei,” “Basiji, IRGC, you are our ISIS,” and “Death to the Basiji.”<\/p>\n
Fearing the uprising of Baluch compatriots, the regime had deployed repressive forces from neighboring provinces, including Kerman, Hormozgan, and South Khorasan, to Zahedan, Khash, Iranshahr, Chabahar, and other cities in the province this week. On Friday, the mercenaries of IRGC, Basij, State Security Force<\/a> (SSF), and MOIS plainclothes agents, along with various vehicles and equipment, established checkpoints and inspection centers in at least 70 locations in Zahedan, especially around the vicinity of Friday prayer sites. Revolutionary Guards and plainclothes agents blocked all entry routes for worshippers, especially preventing the entry of vehicles. The location of the Friday prayer in Zahedan had been completely surrounded since the previous night, and regime drones flew over the worshippers during the Friday prayer.
