On October 10, Iranian regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei denied any involvement in the recent conflict in the Middle East. It was clear to all observers that Khamenei was greatly concerned about his regime becoming involved in the war, especially as the fires of uprisings in 2022 continued to blaze across Iran. At the same time, the threat posed by this inhumane regime to global peace is becoming increasingly evident every day. In fact, since its founding, the mullahs\u2019 regime has thrived on instigating conflicts in the region.<\/p>\n

Many analysts liken Khamenei\u2019s warmongering to an octopus, with its head in Tehran and its arms and tentacles extending to various countries in the Middle East and even beyond.
\nThe reality is that warmongering has deep roots in the medieval nature of this regime. This regime hijacked the Iranian people\u2019s revolution in 1979 and has no compatibility with the progress in Iranian society and the democratic aspirations of its people.<\/p>\n

In the heart of Iran, the \u2018Ekbatan town\u2019 case has garnered national and international attention for its controversial nature and allegations of grave injustice. Eight defendants, including Milad Armun, Alireza Kafaei, Amir Mohammad Khosh Eqbal, Alireza Bermarz Pournak, Mohammad Mehdi Hosseini, Hossein Nemati, Mehdi Imani, and Navid Najaran, faced accusations of \u2018participation in the murder,\u2019 \u2018collusion against national security,\u2019 and \u2018waging war against God.\u2019 Among these, Milad Armun, Alireza Kafaei, and Mohammad Mehdi Hosseini are even facing the death penalty, accused of \u2018combat with cold weapons.\u2019<\/p>\n

Rafael Grossi: The Experience of North Korea Should Not Be Repeated with Iran<\/h3>\n

The U.N. nuclear watchdog\u2019s chief, Rafael Grossi, reminded on Monday that \u201cNorth Korea kicked out International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors and developed nuclear weapons.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe world must not fail in Iran as it did in North Korea,\u201d He added.\u00a0Mr. Grossi\u2019s reference to Iran\u2019s recent action of \u201crevoking the activity permits\u201d of some International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors and preventing their presence in Iran.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe IAEA is the eyes and ears and presence of the international community in Iran,\u201d Grossi told an annual U.S. State Department arms control conference in a recorded message on October 16 adding he was extremely concerned about Iran\u2019s nuclear program.<\/p>\n
