Among the documents obtained by the GhiamSarnegouni<\/a> dissident group from the parliamentary server\u2019s breach, we encounter one containing a confidential letter from Mohammad\u00ed Golpayegani, the head of Supreme Leader\u2019s office, to the Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. In this letter, stamped “urgent action,” the following requests have been dictated to the parliament:<\/p>\n

1- Increase funds for the Center of Services for Religious Seminaries.<\/p>\n

2- Allocate 100 billion tomans to the Endowment Fund for foreign seminary students of the Society of the Companions of the Prophet.<\/p>\n

3- Allocate a budget line for holy shrines.<\/p>\n

4- Increase the budget of holy shrines from 30 billion tomans to 80 billion tomans.<\/p>\n

5- Allocate 100 billion tomans to the Balagh Fund for supporting “Native Preachers” in foreign countries.<\/p>\n

6- Increase in the budget for the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening and the World Assembly of Ahlul Bayt.<\/p>\n

7- Request for budget allocation to “some affiliated institutions and institutions related to the office” [the Supreme Leader\u2019s office].<\/p>\n

8- Request for a 100% increase in funds for “supporting Sunni religious schools and supporting the livelihood of Sunni clerics.”<\/p>\n

In these files, the office of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, extends its influence beyond mere directives. It includes an attached list of various institutions seeking budget allocations, further draining funds from the Iranian populace to fuel extremist propaganda abroad and pursue the regime’s sinister agendas.<\/p>\n

In a dictatorship, the concept of independent branches of power is null, as evidenced by this document revealing how the parliament serves Khamenei’s reign. Similar to the compliance of the regime\u2019s President Ebrahim Raisi with Khamenei’s orders, the parliament is compelled to enact his directives, lending them a veneer of legislation.<\/p>\n

Iran’s economy is dominated by entities associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)<\/a> and Khamenei’s Office, constraining both government and private enterprises to thrive only through connections with officials or their kin. Banks, credit institutions, and even the stock exchange participate in the exploitation of people’s wealth.<\/p>\n

The IRGC, as Iran’s largest armed force and principal economic instrument, exercises full control over docks, border crossings, and illicit activities including the auctioning of raw materials and smuggling narcotics.<\/p>\n

In this cycle, the regime\u2019s Supreme Leader dictates, the parliament legislates, the government executes, and the judiciary punishes dissent against the prevailing corruption and criminality.<\/p>\n

Following the regime’s failed war strategy with Iraq, the clerical regime resorted to egregious crimes to perpetuate its power. This included the 1988 massacre of political prisoners, the targeted assassinations of intellectuals (chain murders), nuclear, ballistic missiles, and drone projects, fostering proxy networks in regional countries, and supporting global terrorism.<\/p>\n
