The Iranian regime\u2019s sham Assembly of Experts and Majles (parliament) elections faced an unprecedented general boycott. Reeling from this massive blow that once again laid their regime\u2019s illegitimacy bare, officials blatantly acknowledge they disregard people\u2019s choices.<\/p>\n

Ahmad Alamolhoda, the Supreme Leader\u2019s representative in Mashhad, was among the first to desperately try to boost the morale of the regime\u2019s forces by undermining people\u2019s roles.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Islam, the majority is not important by itself. When we speak of the majority, we are talking about the majority of religious and obedient [regime\u2019s affiliates] not the rebellious majority,\u201d Alamolhoda said on March 19, according to the state-run Jamaran Website<\/a>. \u201cThus, there is no respect for the majority that disobeys the Supreme Leader.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since usurping the 1979 anti-monarchic revolution, the mullahs\u2019 regime has been violating people\u2019s sovereignty. Thousands laid down their lives to oppose this regime and its medieval rule, thus making it illegitimate since its early days, showing that this regime has no link to Islam and is misusing the religion.<\/p>\n

Contrary to what Alamolhoda claims, there are numerous verses in the Holy Quran that demonstrate how much Islam values people\u2019s opinions and choices. One of the most notable verses is from Surah Al Imran (3:159) of the Quran urging the prophet to \u201cconsult them in the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n
