Paris, June 29, 2024<\/strong> \u2013 Speaking at the Free Iran 2024 World Summit<\/a> in Paris, MP and former Prime Minister of Kosovo Avdullah Hoti expressed unwavering support for the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy. Hoti emphasized that the presence of delegates from around the world demonstrates a determined commitment to supporting Iran\u2019s democratic aspirations.<\/p>\n

The Kosovan MP underscored that the current oppressive regime in Iran cannot endure, predicting it will soon be viewed as a regrettable chapter in Iran\u2019s rich history. He reassured Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the leader of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), of the delegation’s sympathy and support, highlighting her role as the beacon of hope for millions of Iranians desiring a free and dignified life.<\/p>\n

He posed a critical question to the international community: “Are we, the democratic world, doing enough to support the resistance of the Iranian people for freedom?” Hoti argued for more effective sanctions targeting the regime and called for clear, unified signals from the global community to those responsible for human rights abuses, ensuring they face justice.<\/p>\n

Hoti highlighted the resilience and growing strength of Iran\u2019s resistance, believing divine justice will prevail. He urged Mrs. Rajavi\u2019s team to prepare for the organization of a free Iranian society, emphasizing the importance of cementing human rights and democracy while ensuring the coexistence of faith, culture, and diversity.<\/p>\n

Thank you. Thank you very much, Honorable Madam Rajavi, dignitaries, members of parliaments, ladies and gentlemen. On behalf of the Kosovo delegation, MP Selemanaj and MP Hoxhaj, both former Deputy Prime Ministers, and the colleague from Montenegro, Member of Parliament Nikolla Camaj, it’s my great honor to address this distinguished audience.<\/p>\n

As young countries, Kosovo and Montenegro are part of the efforts of the democratic world supporting the Iranian people for freedom and democracy. I believe our presence today from around the world shows our determined support to the people of Iran. Today is clear that the current oppressive regime cannot last. I believe soon it will be regarded as an unfortunate incident in the great history of the Iranian people. History has taught us that all oppressive regimes ultimately fail.<\/p>\n
