US Destroys Missile, Launch Pad Belonging to Houthis: Central Command<\/h3>\n

The US announced Saturday that it destroyed a missile and a lunch pad belonging to the Houthis in Yemen.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the past 24 hours US Central Command (USCENTCOM) forces successfully destroyed an Iranian-backed Houthi missile and launcher in a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen,\u201d CENTCOM wrote on X.<\/p>\n

Noting that the weapons were deemed an \u201cimminent threat to the US and coalition forces,\u201d as well as merchant vessels in the region, it added that the actions were to safeguard freedom of navigation and enhance the safety and security of international waters.<\/p>\n

The Houthis have been targeting Israeli-linked cargo ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden in solidarity with the Gaza Strip, which has been under an Israeli onslaught since Oct. 7.<\/p>\n

But many of the characteristics of this horse are unknown. The \u2018zero report,\u2019 which shows what was handed over to the government at the time of transfer, the state of reserves, prices, basic economic variables, politics, culture, security, energy, water, food, money, inflation, investment, and all major indicators affecting the country\u2019s situation.<\/p>\n

This information was revealed by Haddad Adel, a member of the Council for Expediency and adviser to Khamenei, during an interview with the state-run Khabar TV channel.\u00a0Adel quoted Khamenei as saying, \u201cYou know how much I care about cultural issues. However, I want to advise the president to focus on solving economic problems. The president should be cautious in cultural and social matters to avoid creating trouble for himself. Your main problem is economic issues. So focus on that, pay attention to cultural issues as well, but don\u2019t create trouble for your government.\u201d<\/p>\n

Female Prisoners in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad Clash with Suppressive Guards<\/h3>\n

On Tuesday, July 30, and Wednesday, July 31, 2024, female prisoners in Vakilabad\u00a0Prison in Mashhad<\/a>\u00a0confronted the female suppressive agents of the regime who had entered the ward with the intention of causing harassment and pressure.<\/p>\n

The angry prisoners proceeded to destroy the surveillance cameras inside the ward and broke all the windows. Following these clashes, the prison\u2019s authorities transferred several of the female prisoners from the general ward to various locations, including the psychiatric ward. The exact locations are not all known, and some remain unknown until Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Iranian Women Lead The Force for Change In Iran<\/h3>\n

August 5, 1993, marks a milestone in the struggles of Iranian women, and the Iranian opposition, the PMOI\/MEK which forms the backbone of the democratic alternative to the clerical regime, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).\u00a0On this day, 24 women were unanimously voted to the PMOI\u2019s all-female Leadership Council to hold the helm of affairs in the organization.<\/p>\n

Twelve years after the beginning of the Iranian Resistance when Iranian women remained steadfast despite enduring tremendous suffering and torture in their struggle for freedom and democracy; and four years after\u00a0Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u00a0became the PMOI\u2019s Secretary General in 1989, this long line of battle-tested women were recognized as best qualified to rise to the movement\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n

Germany Deports Director of Iranian Regime Center in Berlin<\/h3>\n

Nasir Niknejad, the Imam of the Islamic Center in Berlin, has been deported from Germany. Niknejad and his wife were arrested at Berlin Airport and deported to Iran three weeks ago after returning from a one-month leave, just before the closure of Islamic centers affiliated with the Iranian regime across Germany.\u00a0On the morning of Wednesday, July 24, the German government issued a statement banning the activities of the Hamburg Islamic Center and several other associated Islamic centers.<\/p>\n

These centers were accused of \u201cpromoting the ideology of the Iranian regime, supporting Hezbollah in Lebanon, and acting against the German constitution.\u201d<\/p>\n

Farmers Continue Protests in Iran<\/h3>\n

On Friday, August 2, farmers from eastern Isfahan once again gathered to protest the closure of the Zayandeh-Rud River. They continued their protest by parking tractors and setting up tents, emphasizing that they have not yet received any response from the authorities.\u00a0Videos and reports show that on Friday, Isfahan\u00a0farmers continued their protest<\/a>, demanding the reopening of the Zayandeh-Rud River.<\/p>\n

The farmers\u2019 gathering in Isfahan started on July 27 in Khorasgan Square of the city.\u00a0On July 30, they also protested the lack of agricultural water rights by setting up tents and parking their tractors in Khorasgan Square, demanding their needs be addressed.<\/p>\n
