\"sohrDeir Ezzor province: The death toll of Iranian-backed militia members of Syrian nationality increased to eight, after three died of wounds they sustained yesterday when a drone, believed to be American, targeted their car, which they were traveling in between the villages of Al-Kashmah and Al-Duweir in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor near the Syrian-Iraqi border. It is noted that this attack comes less than 48 hours after a similar attack that targeted the Kharab Al-Jir base in Al-Hasakah countryside, where US forces failed to foil the attack which was carried by a drone that was launched from Iraq. That was the first direct attack to hit US bases in Syria in months.<\/p>\n

Serious Injury of a Young Iranian Woman Due to Police Shooting<\/h3>\n

Arezu Badri, a female car passenger who was injured after being shot by the police in Noor County, has not fully recovered after nearly three weeks.<\/p>\n

After about 10 days, doctors were able to remove the bullet from\u00a0Arezu Badri<\/a>\u2018s back, but her lungs and spinal cord have sustained \u201cserious damage\u201d: a photo from social media.\u00a0The police chief of Noor County in Mazandaran Province announced on July 23 that the woman\u2019s car, a Pride 111, was stopped at 11 PM on July 22 using \u201cthe law of weapon use.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, in its usual practice in such situations, the police force blamed the incident on the injured citizen, stating that she had \u201cfled\u201d from the police.<\/p>\n
