On Tuesday, September 24, a series of protests erupted across Iran as various labor groups and workers took to the streets to voice their demands. From Tehran to Bushehr and Semnan, teachers, miners, and oil workers demonstrated against delayed wages, unsafe working conditions, and unfulfilled promises by the government.<\/p>\n

In Tehran<\/strong>, literacy teachers gathered in front of the regime\u2019s parliament to demand job security, access to basic insurance, and other employment benefits. Participants included educators from provinces such as Fars, Qom, and Gilan, displaying solidarity across regions.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in Bushehr<\/strong>, workers from the South Pars Gas Complex continued their protest for the eighth consecutive week. Their demands included the reinstatement of their fired representative, Hojjat Rezaee, the implementation of promised leave policies, proper job classification, and improved conditions for contract workers and drivers. They also expressed their condolences for the victims of the recent Tabas mining disaster, which killed 49 miners.<\/p>\n

In Semnan<\/strong>, miners from the Tazareh coal mine went on strike, protesting unsafe working conditions and delayed wages. This comes after the deadly mine collapse in September 2023, which claimed the lives of six workers, heightening concerns about safety in Iran\u2019s mining industry.<\/p>\n

Protests also extended to Mahshahr<\/strong>, where workers from the Petrochemical Terminals and Storage Company continued their six-day strike, decrying workplace discrimination and demanding immediate change in working conditions.<\/p>\n

In Shahroud and Miamey<\/strong>, road workers held their sixth day of protests, demanding their rightful wages and the implementation of road and transportation management policies.<\/p>\n

In Qazvin<\/strong>, individuals affected by the fraudulent activities of the car company “Rezayat Khodro Taravat Novin” held a protest, demanding justice and compensation for the financial losses they suffered. Protesters called on authorities to take swift action to hold the company accountable for its deceptive practices.<\/p>\n

Retired civil servants in Kermanshah and telecom workers in Sistan and Baluchestan protested over unpaid pensions and delayed wages.
