Israeli Warplanes Target Iranian Car Factory in Al-Hasyaa Industrial Area South of Homs<\/h3>\r\n

Homs province: Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes with three missiles targeting an Iranian car factory inside the Al-Hasyaa industrial area in the southern countryside of Homs, amid smoke rising from the targeted location, which led to material damage. According to SOHR sources, the targeted factory is completely empty, and no causalities were reported.\u00a0SOHR documented 101 attacks in 2024: 82 airstrikes and 19 rocket attacks by ground forces, during which Israel targeted several positions in Syria, destroying nearly 186 targets, including buildings, weapons and ammunition warehouses, headquarters, centers, and vehicles. These strikes killed 252 combatants and injured 179 others. The fatalities are distributed as follows:<\/p>\r\n

Khamenei\u2019s goal was to lift the spirits of his demoralized forces, who were increasingly quarreling among themselves.<\/p>\r\n

To this end, he once again beat the war drum, calling the regime\u2019s recent missile attack a \u201cbrilliant action,\u201d and stated: \u201cThe brilliant work of our armed forces two or three nights ago was completely legal and legitimate. What our armed forces did was the minimum punishment for the usurping Zionist regime in response to its astonishing crimes; a bloodthirsty regime, a wolf-like regime, America\u2019s rabid dog in the region. The Islamic Republic will carry out any duty it has in this regard with strength, firmness, and decisiveness.\u201d<\/p>\r\n

The 1979 establishment of the Velayat-e Faqih dictatorship quickly revealed its oppressive nature. Freedoms were stripped away, and warmongering became a tool to suppress dissent. Pursuing freedom was branded a crime, leading to the imprisonment, torture, and execution of thousands. To date, over 120,000 people have been massacred or subjected to torture, executions, and terrorism by the regime.<\/p>\r\n

A hallmark of this regime is its manipulation of religion to maintain power. Khomeini, the regime\u2019s founder, gained the trust of the Iranian people by positioning himself as a religious leader, a source of moral and political authority, by exploiting this trust, Khomeini and his successors infected human values with religious authoritarianism, dividing society between believers and non-believers. Those who opposed the regime, especially the Velayat-e Faqih, were labeled \u201cmohareb\u201d (enemies of God) and \u201ccorruptors on Earth,\u201d often facing the death penalty.<\/p>\r\n

On the morning of Wednesday, October 2, 2024, the execution sentence for a woman named Zahra Fayzi was carried out in Tabriz Central Prison.\u00a0Zahra Fayzi, aged 41 and a resident of\u00a0Tabriz<\/a><\/strong>, was arrested four years ago on charges of murdering her husband and was sentenced to qesas (retribution in kind).<\/p>\r\n

The victim\u2019s family demanded 4.5 billion tomans from Zahra\u2019s family to halt the execution, but her family was unable to gather this amount. This sum far exceeds the official blood money rate in Iran, which has been set by the judiciary at 1.2 billion tomans for 2024.\u00a0The lack of a ceiling on blood money in Iran allows the victim\u2019s family to request amounts significantly higher than the official rate, often leading to the execution of those unable to afford such payments.<\/p>\r\n
