Deir Ezzor province: The \u201cInternational Coalition\u201d Forces stationed in \u201cKoniko\u201d Gas Field in northern Deir Ezzor countryside, fired two missiles on the outskirts of Deir Ezzor City which is held by regime and Iranian militias. However, no casualties were reported.<\/p>\r\n

Yesterday, the \u201cInternational Coalition\u201d forces stationed in the base of Koniko Gas Field fired missiles and heavy artillery shells on missile launch pads of Iran-backed militias near Deir Ezzor City and the military airport. However, no casualties were reported.<\/p>\r\n

This coincided with the flight of drones of the Coalition over the region<\/p>\r\n

The EU Has Found A Legal Way to Label Iran’s Revolutionary Guard as Terrorist Group<\/h3>\r\n

The European Union has found the legal basis to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation, filling a gap that had for years prevented the crucial decision from being taken.\u00a0The IRGC has been accused of leading a brutal crackdown on Iranian protesters, transferring arms to Russia, and launching ballistic missiles against Israel<\/strong><\/a>, as well as propping up militias all across the Middle East.<\/p>\r\n

The basis stems from a ruling issued in March by the D\u00fcsseldorf Higher Regional Court that found the 2022 attack against the Bochum synagogue in western Germany had been initiated by an Iranian state agency.<\/p>\r\n

When the verdict was published, it raised expectations the bloc could finally secure the legal grounds to move forward with the designation, even if Brussels trod carefully.<\/p>\r\n

Battleground Senate Democrats Tell Biden to Act Faster on Iran<\/h3>\r\n

A bipartisan group of senators, including Democrats fighting for reelection in battleground states, this week pushed President Biden to meet reporting deadlines to crack down harder on Iran.<\/p>\r\n

In the letter dated Tuesday, the senators said an emergency supplemental bill signed into law in April to fund Ukraine, Israel, and allies in the Indo-Pacific had included several provisions designed to restrict Iran\u2019s ability to sell oil and procure or distribute weapons, and that Biden has missed several deadlines to update Congress on related progress.<\/p>\r\n
