Demonstrations erupted from Tehran to Abadan, with participants demanding improved living standards, overdue payments, and better work conditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In <strong>Tehran<\/strong>, retired teachers from various regions gathered at the Plan and Budget Organization for the second day, pressing for overdue bonuses and better pensions. Protesters chanted \u201cWhere is justice?\u201d and marched toward the Presidential Office when their calls for improved benefits went unanswered. The previous day, they had demonstrated outside the Ministry of Education, calling for the resignation of what they labeled an \u201cincompetent minister.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Retirees of the Telecommunications Company of Iran (TCI) also held protests in multiple cities, including <strong>Hamedan<\/strong> (western Iran), <strong>Ilam<\/strong>, <strong>Kermanshah<\/strong> (western Iran), <strong>Esfahan<\/strong> (central Iran), <strong>Sanandaj<\/strong> (Kurdistan region), <strong>Tabriz<\/strong> (northwest), <strong>Rasht<\/strong> (Gilan province), and <strong>Borujerd<\/strong> (Lorestan province). These demonstrations targeted the Setad Ejraie Farman Emam (EIKO) and IRGC Cooperative Foundation, major TCI stakeholders. Protesters shouted, \u201cOppressive shareholders have taken what is ours,\u201d reflecting growing anger toward government-backed entities. Kurdish political prisoner <a href=\"https:\/\/wncri.org\/2024\/11\/10\/varisha-moradi-ncri-women-death-sentence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Varisha Moradi<\/a>, recently sentenced to death by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/anews\/who-is-who\/judge-salavati-the-ruthless-enforcer-of-irans-medieval-legal-decrees\/\">Judge Abolqasem Salavati<\/a> for charges of \u201carmed rebellion,\u201d has been a focal point of resistance within the prison.
