Kamalvandi characterized these moves as part of Tehran\u2019s &#8220;compensatory measures&#8221; in response to what he called &#8220;a political, unrealistic, and destructive&#8221; resolution. Larijani, a former parliament speaker and potential successor to Ali-Akbar Ahmadian as Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/alilarijani_ir\/status\/1860047802216382922\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suggested on social media<\/a> that the regime is open to negotiating a &#8220;new agreement&#8221; if the United States meets its demands, including &#8220;compensation for damages&#8221; and additional concessions.
