TAMPA, Fla. \u2013 Today, Nov. 26, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted a strike against an Iranian-aligned militia weapons storage facility in Syria. The strike is in response to an Iranian-aligned attack against U.S. forces in Syria yesterday.

CENTCOM conducted this strike against the Iranian-backed group\u2019s weapons storage facility to degrade their ability to plan and launch future attacks on U.S. and Coalition forces who are in the region to conduct D-ISIS operations.

“As previously stated, we will not tolerate any attacks on our personnel and coalition partners. We are committed to taking all necessary actions to ensure their protection,” said Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla, CENTCOM commander.<\/p>\r\n

No society can progress without ending violence, oppression, and exploitation against women. The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is a day to expose the misogynist dictatorship ruling Iran\u2014a regime that has executed or tortured tens of thousands of PMOI women and female freedom fighters.<\/p>\r\n

In the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran<\/strong><\/a>, the vast majority of female prisoners from the PMOI were executed. In the\u00a02022 protests, Iranian women<\/strong><\/a> showed their leadership role. During those protests, the regime arrested 30,000 people, including many young girls and boys. The United Nations Fact-Finding Mission stated that the suppression of peaceful protests and widespread discrimination against women and girls have led to serious human rights violations by the Iranian regime.
