Five Iranian political prisoners on death row have issued a defiant and courageous statement, mocking the regime\u2019s futile attempts to intimidate dissent through executions. As supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran<\/a> (PMOI\/MEK), these prisoners are transforming the fear of death into a rallying cry for freedom and justice.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the sixth prisoner, Mohammad Taghavi, has been relocated to Ward 209 of Evin Prison, and his whereabouts and condition remain unknown.<\/p>\n The five prisoners, who are participating in a hunger strike as part of the nationwide \u201cNo to Execution Tuesdays\u201d campaign, condemned the regime\u2019s judiciary as illegitimate and inhumane. In their declaration, they state<\/a>: \u201cOur plea for justice is not from the standpoint of saving our lives… but it is an invitation to stand against the death penalty \u2013 in its essence and in its entirety \u2013 and for all political and non-political prisoners.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite their death sentences, these brave individuals refuse to bow to fear, turning their plight into an inspiration for resistance. Their call to action is clear: \u201cIt is possible and necessary to turn the despair and fear caused by mass death sentences into boldness, rebellion, and revolutionary fire to uproot this regime.\u201d<\/p>\n By standing firm, these prisoners not only reject the regime\u2019s intimidation but also reaffirm the Iranian people\u2019s resolve to achieve democracy and freedom.
