    CENTCOM Forces Defeat Houthi Attacks on U.S. Navy and U.S.-Flagged Ships in the Gulf of Aden<\/h3>\r\n

    TAMPA, Fla. \u2013 U.S. Navy destroyers USS Stockdale (DDG 106) and USS O\u2019Kane (DDG 77) successfully defeated a range of Houthi-launched weapons while transiting the Gulf of Aden, Dec. 9 \u2013 10.<\/p>\r\n

    The destroyers were escorting three U.S.-owned, operated, and flagged merchant vessels. The reckless attacks resulted in no injuries and no damage to any vessels, civilians, or U.S. Naval.<\/p>\r\n

    The destroyers successfully engaged and defeated multiple one-way attack uncrewed aerial systems (OWA UAS), and one anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM), ensuring the safety of the ships and their personnel, as well as civilian vessels and their crews. However, the glaring contradiction between this claim and the regime\u2019s fear-driven policies is noteworthy.     According to the report, Tehran had been \u201cdisappointed\u201d with Bashar al-Assad for over a year. Some considered him an obstacle and a burden, while others labeled him a traitor.<\/p>\r\n

    The newspaper quoted its source saying that in a recent meeting with Abbas Araghchi, Bashar al-Assad had stated that his forces\u2019 withdrawal from Aleppo was \u201ctactical.\u201d However, Iran\u2019s foreign minister responded that Iran was no longer in a position to send additional forces to support him.<\/p>\r\n

    In Khuzestan Province, schools in 17 cities were declared closed. In recent days, air quality in some cities of this province has been in the \u201cred status,\u201d and on Monday, schools in 19 cities of Khuzestan were also closed.\u00a0In Isfahan Province, schools in 12 cities were announced to be online on Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/p>\r\n
