Despite widespread criticism from state media and officials urging a shift in Tehran\u2019s regional strategy, Khamenei signaled no intention of changing course. The Resistance Front only becomes stronger under pressure. The more crimes you commit, the more motivated we become. The broader your battles, the wider the resistance grows. I assure you, with divine help, the reach of resistance will extend across the entire region like never before.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While Khamenei tried to project strength, even some of his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-a-fundamentalism\/why-syrias-regime-change-shakes-tehran-to-its-core\/\">loyalists have acknowledged<\/a> the scale of the strategic defeat in Syria. The regime\u2019s support base, already weakened by economic struggles and domestic discontent, has grown increasingly doubtful of its regional adventures. Reports from state media and officials have highlighted the financial and human toll of Tehran\u2019s involvement in Syria, with some questioning whether the policy was worth its cost.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Khamenei appeared acutely aware of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-a-fundamentalism\/state-media-reveals-assads-fall-has-intensified-the-blame-game-in-iran\/\">rising internal criticism<\/a>.
