Thousands of NCRI supporters rallied in Paris on Feb. 8, 2025, marking Iran\u2019s 1979 revolution and vowing to overthrow the clerical regime.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As Iran marks yet another anniversary of the 1979 Revolution, 20,000 Iranians gathered<\/a> in Paris to demand change. Representing three generations, these demonstrators made it clear that neither the Shah\u2019s monarchy nor the mullahs\u2019 theocracy holds any future for Iran. Their slogans\u2014”No Shah, No Mullah”\u2014echoed through the streets, a powerful testament to their unwavering commitment to democracy. The Paris demonstration was more than just a protest; it was a declaration that the regime\u2019s days were numbered and that an alternative was ready to take its place.<\/p>\n

The participants expressed their support for the Resistance Units<\/a> inside Iran in their efforts to overthrow the regime, as well as for the alternative presented by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the Ten-Point Plan<\/a> of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the NCRI. This plan ensures a peaceful transition and the establishment of democracy in Iran after the regime’s downfall.<\/p>\n

Currently, the country faces an unprecedented crisis. The clerical regime, once sustained by repression and propaganda, is now at its weakest point, crippled by unprecedented public discontent, a collapsing economy, deepening social crises, extreme poverty, skyrocketing inflation, and the total absence of even the most basic civil rights. These internal fractures, combined with setbacks the regime has suffered in the region, have left the regime in a state of unprecedented instability. Widespread discontent has pushed Iranian society to the brink of an explosion. The regime\u2019s attempts to suppress dissent through brutal crackdowns and executions have only intensified public anger.<\/p>\n
