Iran Prepares to Hang OLDEST Prisoner on Regime\u2019s Death List<\/h3>\n

ONE of Iran’s oldest political prisoners who has spent more than 18 years in jail is feared to be next on the regime’s barbaric execution list. Ali Moezi, 72, has been forcibly moved to the notorious Qezelhesser Prison – where brutal hangings are rife.<\/p>\n

His plight comes as a British couple languish in an Iranian jail after being slapped with trumped-up espionage charges. Moezi – who suffers from a number of health issues – was subjected to physical violence as he was transferred, it is understood.<\/p>\n

The dad has been arrested four times in the 1980s, 200s, 2010s and most recently in 2022. In total,\u00a0Iran<\/a>‘s brutal regime has kept Moezi in hellhole jails for more than 18 years on trumped-up charges.<\/p>\n

On February 18, Iran witnessed another day of protests reflecting the country\u2019s deepening economic crisis, worsening living conditions, and the intensifying repression targeting various segments of society. From students to workers and retirees, Iranians have taken to the streets in defiance of the regime\u2019s failed policies, which have led to economic collapse and blatant violations of fundamental rights. As the authorities continue to ignore public demands, the protests are expanding, fueling growing tensions across the country.<\/p>\n

At Allameh University in Tehran, a memorial service for\u00a0Amir Mohammad Khaleqi<\/a>, a student killed under suspicious circumstances, turned into a powerful demonstration against the regime. During the ceremony, a student read a statement condemning the security forces\u2019 role in suppressing dissent, emphasizing that Khaleqi\u2019s death was not an isolated incident but a direct consequence of the regime\u2019s failure to ensure genuine security for its people.<\/p>\n

Somayeh Rajabi, a Christian Convert, Is Arrested in a Raid on Christian Gathering<\/h3>\n

On Thursday, February 6, 2025, Iranian security forces launched a raid on a Christian gathering in\u00a0Gatab, a district of Babol<\/a>, in Mazandaran Province, northern Iran. Somayeh Rajabi, a Christian convert, was arrested during the raid and subsequently transferred to the IRGC Intelligence Detention Center in Sari, the provincial capital.<\/p>\n

Over 20 IRGC intelligence agents stormed a private gathering of approximately 80 Christians from the cities of Gorgan and Babol. During the raid, they confiscated Bibles, musical instruments, and communication devices, while forcing attendees to provide personal information and unlock their mobile phones.<\/p>\n

Poverty and the Collapse of Ethical Values Under Iran\u2019s Regime<\/h3>\n

Ahmad Delbari, Senior Advisor at Iran\u2019s Welfare Organization, has revealed that 4,800 elderly individuals have been abandoned in hospitals, shrines, and on the streets by their own children. He also confirmed that thousands of retirees have become homeless, now residing in shelters across Tehran.\u00a0According to official statistics, Iran has\u00a09.8 million elderly citizens, including\u00a05.15 million women\u00a0and\u00a04.7 million men. Hesamodin Allameh, the former head of Iran\u2019s National Council for the Elderly, warned that Iran has one of the fastest-growing aging populations in the world, stating that \u201cIran will not witness a single good day in the field of elderly care over the next decade.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a conference on \u201cAging Justice,\u201d Delbari disclosed that\u00a030% of nursing homes in Iran are filled with unidentified elderly individuals, reflecting the deepening social crisis in the country. He added that aging in Iran has escalated from a\u00a0\u201ccrisis\u201d to a \u201cmega-crisis\u201d\u00a0due to the lack of supportive policies for the elderly.<\/p>\n
