Iran Tried to Put A Bullet In My Head Because I Support The West\u2019s Pressure against The Regime<\/h3>\n

In July, Americans watched Donald Trump providentially survive an assassin\u2019s bullet when he turned his head at the last second. Less than a year prior, the same thing had happened to me. It was Nov. 9 of 2023 at 11:30 a.m. I was 30 meters from my home, just back from a walk in the park. A man in a motorcycle helmet walked up to me and said the words \u201cHello, sir.\u201d What happened next was a blur.<\/p>\n

He raised a gun towards my head and pulled the trigger, firing a 9mm bullet that ripped into my jaw. I couldn\u2019t see his face. He tried to shoot again. His gun jammed.<\/p>\n

My would-be assassin got away on a motorbike.<\/p>\n

I was severely injured and had to fight for my life.<\/p>\n

For many reasons, surviving this attack was a miracle. I had bent my head very slightly as I turned to speak to the assailant. He aimed for my neck, but the bullet went through my jawline instead.<\/p>\n

Former Navy Sailor Pleads Guilty to Federal Charge In 2022 Plot to Attack Illinois Naval Station<\/h3>\n

A former US Navy sailor pleaded guilty to a federal charge accusing him of a 2022 plot to attack Naval Station Great Lakes in northern Illinois, according to a plea agreement unsealed Thursday.<\/p>\n

Xuanyu Harry Pang, 38, allegedly devised a plan involving Iranian actors to conduct an attack against the US to avenge the death of Qasem Soleimani, a general of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who was\u00a0killed by a US airstrike in 2020<\/a>, according to court documents. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the US in 2019.<\/p>\n

In November, Pang pleaded guilty in a Chicago federal court to conspiring to and attempting to willfully injure and destroy national defense material, national defense premises, and national defense utilities \u2013 namely Naval Station Great Lakes \u2013 with the intent to injure, interfere with, and obstruct the national defense of the US, the Department of Justice said in a news release Thursday.<\/p>\n

U.S. Lawmakers Back Iranian Resistance Against \u2018Pariah, Murderous, Terrorist Regime,\u2019 Call for Democratic Iran<\/h3>\n

Over 150 members of Congress expressed support for a resolution endorsing the Iranian resistance movement against the \u201cmurderous\u201d and \u201cterrorist\u201d Islamic Republic while advocating for a secular, democratic Iran.<\/p>\n

A bipartisan coalition of more than 150 U.S. lawmakers has introduced House Resolution 166,\u00a0calling<\/a> for an end to Iran\u2019s theocratic regime and backing the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI). The resolution, co-sponsored by Reps. Tom McClintock (R-CA) and Brad Sherman (D-CA) affirm support for the Iranian people\u2019s fight against oppression and endorse NCRI\u2019s Ten-Point Plan for a free and democratic Iran.<\/p>\n

During Wednesday\u2019s congressional hearing, lawmakers condemned Iran\u2019s government as a \u201cpariah, murderous, terrorist regime,\u201d with Rep. McClintock emphasizing that the Iranian regime has become a \u201csupreme source of misery, injustice, and oppression for its own people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Who Is the Real Enemy of The Iranian Nation?<\/h3>\n

In a speech on February 17, Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei repeatedly stated that \u201cthe enemies of the Iranian nation want to harm this nation through software\u201d<\/p>\n

Within this single statement, there are two lies and deceptions:\u00a0Firstly, no government in the world has ever sought to harm the Iranian nation. The focus of most Iranians inside the country and their supporters worldwide is to deal a decisive blow to the clerical regime and remove it as an obstacle to Iran\u2019s progress and freedom. Meanwhile, major global powers, rather than supporting the Iranian people, have only engaged in appeasement and deals with the ruling mullahs\u2014ironically preventing the regime\u2019s downfall during various uprisings over the past four decades.<\/p>\n

Secondly, it is Khamenei himself who has ordered the filtering of communication tools for the Iranian people\u2014not any foreign government or external force. Beyond the filtering imposed under Khamenei\u2019s rule, the rest of the world enjoys free and open communication, using internet services as needed for work and daily life.<\/p>\n

The Guiding Light of \u201cNeither Shah nor Mullahs\u201d Illuminates Iran\u2019s Path to Freedom<\/h3>\n

On February 26, 2025, news broke about a lawsuit filed in the United States against Parviz Sabeti, the head of the notorious Third Department of SAVAK (the Shah\u2019s secret police) before the 1979 revolution. The lawsuit, filed by three political prisoners tortured during the Shah\u2019s time, introduced Sabeti as the architect of institutionalizing torture in Iran and using forced confessions in public, obtained through torture. This practice was developed by Sabeti and has been expanded and used today in the mullahs\u2019 regime.<\/p>\n

The Independent\u00a0reported<\/a> that many sources say the Shah and Mullahs\u2019 regimes are \u201ctwo sides of the same coin.\u201d The legacy of torture was built by the Shah and expanded by the Mullahs\u2019 regime. SAVAK was never dismantled and was employed by the Mullahs\u2019 regime.<\/p>\n

Many political prisoners of the Shah\u2019s time, in a statement recounting the crimes of the Shah and his SAVAK, exposed this strategy.<\/p>\n

These tragedies expose the ongoing crisis of gender-based violence, perpetuated and institutionalized by the Iranian regime\u2019s deeply misogynistic laws.<\/p>\n
