A Statement Against Repression in Iran<\/h3>\n

On April 1, 2025, the European Parliament adopted a resolution condemning the ongoing wave of executions in Iran and expressing strong condemnation of the death sentences against activists Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani.<\/p>\n

This initiative represents a powerful expression of our outrage against the systematic human rights violations committed under the Iranian clerical regime. At the same time, the recent release of Olivier Grondeau\u2014a French citizen who was held under inhumane conditions\u2014offers a glimmer of hope. However, true joy and justice will only be achieved when the regime ends its cynical hostage-taking policy and releases all remaining prisoners, including C\u00e9cile Kohler and Jacques Paris, as well as other foreign nationals.<\/p>\n

He Is Not A Genuine Alternative<\/h3>\n

Millions of Iranians celebrated the Persian New Year on March 20, with hopes for brighter days and a continually weakening clerical regime. Over the past year, the regime has suffered significant setbacks: the death of President Raisi, a boycott of the presidential election by over 90 percent, the weakening of Hezbollah, the fall of Assad, and now the attacks on the Houthis. At the same time, the regime fears new and larger uprisings than the one in 2022, which shook their power base.<\/p>\n

To prevent further uprisings, the regime resorts to brutal repression. The use of the death penalty has increased drastically, and massive disinformation campaigns are being waged against its arch-enemy, the democratic resistance movement NCRI. The NCRI has a well-organized network within Iran, is behind many protests, and has exposed the regime\u2019s nuclear program.<\/p>\n

NCRI’s President-elect, Maryam Rajavi, has gained broad international support for her plan for a democratic republic and her struggle against the Revolutionary Guards. Among her supporters are thousands of parliamentarians, including a majority in Norway, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

Hezbollah Should Not Be Part of The Government, Says Ortagus from Baabda<\/h3>\n

Hezbollah should not be part of the Lebanese government, which Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam has been trying to form since mid-January, American envoy Morgan Ortagus stated from the presidential palace.\u00a0Speaking after a meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, the diplomat further stated that “Hezbollah’s reign of terror in Lebanon and the world is over.”<\/p>\n

“Israel defeated Hezbollah and we are grateful to them, and we insist that Hezbollah should in no way participate in the new Lebanese government,” she said. She also emphasized that “America is committed to its partnership” with Lebanon and has “high hopes” for the future, due to the rise to power of “credible and committed men, who will ensure that corruption ends, just like Hezbollah’s influence.” She further affirmed that Washington is committed to the Feb. 18 date being the end of the implementation of cease-fire terms in Lebanon, notably the Israeli withdrawal, and that it be respected.<\/p>\n

Exposing New Conspiracy of The Iranian Intelligence Ministry in Albania<\/h3>\n

The Iranian notorious Intelligence Ministry (MOIS<\/a>) has taken new measures in Albania in its latest attempt to discredit the Iranian democratic opposition, the Mojahedin (MEK<\/a>). The perpetrator of these measures is an agent named Morteza Jafari, an Iranian living in Greece. He was dispatched to Albania by the MOIS order to produce a film against the MEK and refugees stationed in Ashraf 3 in cooperation with the\u00a0MOIS<\/a>\u00a0agents in Albania. Jafari has not hidden his affiliation with the regime by repeatedly supporting the criminal Iranian regime and the brutal Qassem Suleimani, the leader of the terrorist Quds Force, on social media.\u00a0Qassem Suleimani<\/a>\u00a0was killed by US Forces while in a wicked mission in Iraq in January 2020.<\/p>\n

The websites affiliated with the MOIS, such as the \u201cNejat Society<\/a>\u201c, have recently covered the presence of this individual in Albania and his talks with the agents of the \u201cNejat Society\u201d, and that he is preparing a documentary against the MEK in Albania. This coordinated propaganda indicates that this is part of an organized operation aimed at discrediting and paving the way for terrorist acts.<\/p>\n

Introducing The Local Agents of The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) in Albania<\/h3>\n

On March 10, 2025, the Persian-language website Iran Efshagar published an enlightening letter from a former agent of the infamous Iranian Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS<\/a>) in Albania detailing some of the secret activities of the Iranian regime in Albania. This open letter was written by\u00a0Abdolrahman Mohammadian<\/a>\u00a0to the Secretary-General of the United Nations. He had been cooperating with the MOIS against the Mojahedin (MEK<\/a>) members in Albania for 5 years until June 2023, when he left the country.<\/p>\n

Mohammadian explains in his letter that he left the MEK in Albania in the hope of going back to Iran and meeting his elderly mother. \u00a0He then, went to the Iranian embassy in Tirana to get permit to go back toIran. However, the embassy\u2019s condition for his return to Iran was cooperation in espionage and demonization activities against the MEK in Albania. He even published a book full of lies and slander against the MEK, on the orders of the MOIS. \u00a0He writes: \u201cIn these few years, I have been tormented by my conscience every hour and every day because of the lies we have produced against the MEK.\u201d<\/p>\n

Infighting Over Mandatory Hijab Law Exposes Fear of Uprising among Iranian Regime Officials<\/h3>\n

On April 5, 2025, the state-run newspaper Etemad, referencing the infighting among regime factions over the implementation or suspension of the criminal mandatory hijab law, warned of the danger of a \u201cspark\u201d turning into a \u201cblaze\u201d of uprisings that could engulf the entire regime.\u00a0This state-run newspaper wrote: \u201cAccording to hardliners, in a situation where public dissatisfaction has increased due to economic problems, a single protest spark could create widespread dissent and put the government in checkmate.\u201d<\/p>\n

A few days earlier, on March 30, Azar Mansouri, head of the regime\u2019s so-called reformist faction, warned in an interview with Didar News website that \u201cthe social fabric and the demands and expectations of the people have made the country highly susceptible to unrest and increased tensions between the state and society.\u201d She also said: \u201cDissatisfaction is growing, people\u2019s anger and despair are increasing, and God forbid that this anger and dissatisfaction increase so much that it overcomes fear.\u201d<\/p>\n
