In a blistering editorial titled \u201cNegotiation\u2019s Breeze Doesn\u2019t Cool the Desert of Domestic Problems,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.javanonline.ir\/fa\/news\/1290453\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">published April 10<\/a>, 2025, the paper dismantles the regime\u2019s long-standing narrative that sanctions are the primary source of national hardship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSanctions have choked Iran\u2019s economy, but the real roots of the crisis lie elsewhere,\u201d the paper states, pointing to \u201cchronic dependency on oil, widespread corruption, and bureaucratic inefficiency\u201d as the true culprits. Without it, no foreign agreement can rescue Iran from collapse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While <em data-start=\"386\" data-end=\"393\">Javan<\/em> attempts to frame its critique within a loyalist narrative, the subtext is unmistakable: four decades of absolute rule have hollowed out Iran\u2019s institutions, leaving a brittle regime <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-protests\/iranian-officials-and-analysts-sound-alarm-over-imminent-social-explosion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vulnerable to societal unrest<\/a>.
