U.S. Air Campaign Against Houthis Continues Into Third Day<\/h3>\n

The U.S. military is striking\u00a0Houthi<\/a>\u00a0targets in Yemen for the third day in a row, a top U.S. general told reporters on\u00a0Monday, including from\u00a0The War Zone<\/em>. The large-scale strikes, ordered by President Donald Trump, began Saturday and have killed \u201cdozens\u201d of militants and hit headquarters, command and control nodes, weapons manufacturing and storage facilities, and drone operations infrastructure.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, the operation continues, and it will continue in the coming days until we achieve the president\u2019s objectives,\u201d Joint Staff Director for Operations Lt. Gen. Alex Grynkewich said during an afternoon media briefing. He added that among the Houthis killed were several drone technicians.<\/p>\n

Sen. Cruz, Colleagues Introduce Bill to Allow American Victims of Terrorism to Sue International Organizations Supporting Terrorists<\/h3>\n

WASHINGTON, D.C. \u2013 U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and colleagues introduced the LIABLE Act, which removes immunity from, and allows suits against, international organizations that provide material support to designated terror groups which commit terrorism against Americans.<\/p>\n

Upon introduction, Sen. Cruz said, \u201cThe United Nations Relief and Works Agency officials have for decades knowingly provided support to Hamas terrorists, including salaries and materials. That support facilitated Hamas\u2019s terrorist attack on October 7th, which was the worst one-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust and included the murder and kidnapping of dozens of Americans. Those victims and their families deserve the ability to hold UNRWA accountable, and the LIABLE Act would give them that opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Monday, April 14, 2025, a second audio file of Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri, concerning his meeting in January 1989 with members of the \u201cDeath Committee,\u201d was released.
