In that revolt, the regime cut internet access and reportedly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/world\/special-report-irans-leader-ordered-crackdown-on-unrest-do-whatever-it-take-idUSKBN1YR0QO\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">killed over 1,500 protesters<\/a>.
