The United States has intensified its air campaign against Houthi forces in Yemen, launching dozens of strikes across multiple provinces, according to Al Arabiya <\/em><\/a>on April 27. U.S. Central Command confirmed that operations are continuing “around the clock,” aiming to disrupt the Houthis\u2019 military infrastructure and prevent attacks on commercial shipping routes in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, April 26, American warplanes conducted four fresh airstrikes targeting Houthi fortifications at the Maas military camp north of Marib, resulting in heavy explosions. Separate reports indicate that a Houthi commander was likely killed in a U.S. airstrike on a residence north of Sana’a.<\/p>\n

In total, 54 airstrikes were launched overnight against Houthi positions across six Yemeni provinces. One of the strikes reportedly targeted a Houthi transport vehicle carrying military supplies in Sirwah, Marib province. During an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on Sunday, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, founder of Spain\u2019s nationalist Vox Party, responded to revelations made public by the Netherlands\u2019 intelligence services on Thursday. According to the Dutch intelligence and security agency, both the attempted assassination of Iranian journalist Siamak Tahmasb in the Netherlands and the 2023 shooting of Vidal-Quadras in Madrid were\u00a0directed<\/a>\u00a0by the Islamic Republic of Iran.<\/p>\n

Dutch authorities\u00a0apprehended<\/a>\u00a0the suspected assassin before he could kill Tahmasb, a prominent opponent of the Iranian regime, but Vidal-Quadras was less fortunate, surviving a gunshot to the face.<\/p>\n

MUSCAT, Oman (AP) \u2014 A massive explosion and fire rocked a port Saturday in southern Iran purportedly linked to a shipment of a chemical ingredient used to make missile propellant, killing 25 people and injuring around 800 others.<\/p>\n

Helicopters and aircraft dumped water from the air on the raging fire through the night into Sunday morning at the Shahid Rajaei port. The explosion occurred just as\u00a0Iran and the United States met Saturday in Oman<\/a>\u00a0for the third round of negotiations over Tehran\u2019s rapidly advancing nuclear program.<\/p>\n

Private security firm Ambrey says the port received missile fuel chemical in March. It is part of a shipment of ammonium perchlorate from China by two vessels to Iran, first reported in January by the Financial Times. The chemical used to make solid propellant for rockets was going to be used to replenish Iran\u2019s missile stocks, which had been depleted by its direct attacks on Israel during\u00a0the war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip<\/a>.<\/p>\n

U.S. airstrikes targeting Houthi positions in Yemen continued on Friday, resulting in the death of senior Houthi commander Abu Mohsen al-Rassas in Majzar District, north of Marib, according to Al Arabiya<\/em> sources<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The strikes, part of a broader escalation, involved at least seven air raids on Houthi military sites in Madghal District, additional strikes in Harib District to the south, and multiple raids against Houthi camps near Sanaa, causing dozens of casualties in Mahwit Province.<\/p>\n

Four additional strikes hit the Ras Issa oil terminal in Hodeidah, while another targeted weapons storage facilities in Saada\u2019s Sahar District, resulting in civilian casualties, including the death of a woman and injuries to another person.<\/p>\n

The U.S. military\u2019s Central Command has provided limited public details about the campaign, which has involved approximately 750 airstrikes since March 15.
