Paris, May 31, 16:27 (Agenzia Nova)<\/em> \u2013 \u201cA significant number of members of the Italian Parliament, from across the political spectrum, have signed an official declaration supporting the Iranian Resistance and Mrs. Maryam Rajavi\u2019s Ten-Point Plan,\u201d said Naike Gruppioni, MP from Italia Viva, during her remarks at the \u201cFree Iran\u201d conference currently taking place in Paris.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a historic step \u2014 a powerful signal that Italy stands on the side of freedom. Mrs. Rajavi\u2019s plan is not just a political platform; it is a vision of a secular, democratic Iran \u2014 free from the death penalty, where women have equal rights, where elections are free and transparent, and where human dignity is finally respected.<\/p>\n

It is a dream that, thanks to the strength of the Resistance and the courageous leadership of Mrs. Rajavi, is turning into a real possibility. But now, we must take one step further: initiate political and institutional recognition of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) as a legitimate and credible interlocutor for a democratic future in Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n
