With the government cutting insurance subsidies for bakers and the cost of flour and other ingredients climbing, bakers are trapped\u2014facing mounting costs while being forced to sell at outdated, fixed prices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the transportation sector, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baharnews.ir\/news\/532600\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bahar News reported<\/a> a doubling in tire prices, from 15 to 30 million tomans. New vehicle prices now range from $60,000 to $80,000, leading many truck drivers to risk billions of tomans in capital just to operate on Iran\u2019s deteriorating road infrastructure.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">A Country at a Crossroads<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The sum of these developments points not just to a failing economy, but to a society in free fall. Millions of Iranians have seen their purchasing power evaporate. Basic necessities are becoming luxuries.
