Iran \u2018Hiding Thousands of Centrifuges\u2019 to Build Nuclear Bomb<\/h3>\n

Iran has hidden sites housing \u201chundreds if not thousands\u201d of advanced centrifuges capable of producing\u00a0weapons-grade uranium<\/a>, an expert on Iran\u2019s nuclear programme said.\u00a0The regime also moved much of its highly enriched uranium to a secret location\u00a0before the US was able to bomb<\/a>\u00a0the Islamic republic\u2019s three known nuclear facilities, they added.<\/p>\n

It means Tehran could have all the capabilities to build a\u00a0nuclear bomb<\/a>, said Sima Shine, an expert on Iran\u2019s nuclear programme who has worked within the Israeli military establishment for more than 30 years.<\/p>\n

To understand the significance of the 2025 rallies, one must look back to June 20, 1981. On that day, the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) organized a peaceful demonstration in Tehran, which drew more than half a million people demanding that the nascent clerical regime respect their fundamental freedoms.<\/p>\n

Evin Prison: Prisoners Injured in the Women\u2019s Ward<\/h3>\n

Tehran, Monday, June 23, 2025 \u2013 At 11:00 AM local time, Evin Prison \u2014 one of\u00a0Iran\u2019s most notorious detention centers<\/a>\u00a0for political prisoners \u2014 was extensively damaged in\u00a0explosions during intensifying warfare<\/a>, triggering widespread concern among the families of inmates.<\/p>\n

The blast shattered windows across multiple wards and left several prisoners injured.<\/p>\n

The administrative and security sections of Evin Prison were bombed. The targeted administrative area includes the offices of the judiciary, the prosecutor\u2019s office, investigation units, and the intelligence sections of Ward 209 of Evin. This area is located near the entrance to Evin\u2019s visitation hall. All interrogators operate out of this building.<\/p>\n
