The declaration expresses grave concern over the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/human-rights\/un-report-paints-grim-picture-of-human-rights-violations-in-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deteriorating human rights<\/a> situation in Iran and calls for international recognition of the Iranian people\u2019s right to overthrow the clerical dictatorship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1419\">The statement denounces the regime\u2019s sweeping repression and the wave of executions, particularly targeting women and political dissidents. It warns that the regime has completely blocked all avenues for peaceful political activity and emphasizes the legitimacy of the Iranian people&#8217;s right to resist dictatorship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1421\" data-end=\"1964\">The signatories affirm their support for the organized Resistance led by the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) and its network of <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iranian-resistance-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resistance Units<\/a> inside Iran. They emphasize that these Resistance Units \u2014 which have played a crucial role in sustaining anti-regime protests \u2014 must be recognized as part of a legitimate struggle for freedom.
