Cruelly repressed by a misogynist and medieval theocratic regime that is unable to provide even basic services such as electricity, gas, and water, Resistance Units are burgeoning nationwide. Controlled and coordinated by the People\u2019s Mojahedin of Iran\/Mujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI\/MEK), the Resistance Units are actively fighting for Iran\u2019s destiny, to overthrow the tyranny of the mullahs and introduce a secular democratic republic. Their health, dignity, and even their lives are now under serious and immediate threat.\u00a0The transfer followed the destruction of Evin Prison on June 23, 2025. The women were relocated not to a prepared facility, but to a neglected hall in\u00a0Qarchak Prison<\/a>, formerly used to detain drug-dependent inmates.<\/p>\n

The space was in a state of extreme filth, filled with the stench of rot, rodent infestation, and completely lacking ventilation. The prisoners themselves\u2014without any official assistance\u2014have worked to clean the area to the extent possible. Nevertheless, the conditions remain unacceptable and constitute a flagrant violation of basic human rights.<\/p>\n

Hoda Mehreganfar, 38, Denied Much Needed Medical Care in Adelabad Prison<\/h3>\n

Hoda Mehreganfar, a 38-year-old\u00a0electronics engineer<\/a>\u00a0and political prisoner, has been held in legal limbo for over eight months in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz without a court hearing.<\/p>\n

Despite suffering from a serious abdominal condition, she has been systematically denied access to proper medical care and is facing escalating physical and psychological pressure.<\/p>\n

Hoda Mehreganfar has been diagnosed with an abdominal cyst and, according to physicians, requires immediate sonography and specialized medical evaluation outside the prison.<\/p>\n
