\"NCRIIn Commemoration of the 72nd Anniversary of the July 21 National Uprising Against the Shah and in Support of the National Leader Dr. Mossadegh<\/em><\/h3>\n

On the anniversary of the historic July 21 (30 Tir) uprising, Resistance Units carried out 50 activities in Tehran<\/strong> and 15 other cities \u2014 Tabriz<\/strong>, Mashhad<\/strong>, Isfahan<\/strong>, Shiraz<\/strong>, Ahvaz<\/strong>, Kerman<\/strong>, Kermanshah<\/strong>, Sari<\/strong>, Bandar Abbas<\/strong>, Sanandaj<\/strong>, Qazvin<\/strong>, Gorgan<\/strong>, Kashan<\/strong>, Borujerd<\/strong>, and Marvdasht<\/strong> \u2014 once again demonstrating the Iranian people\u2019s determination to continue Mossadegh\u2019s path and fight against the ruling religious dictatorship.<\/p>\n

The 30 Tir 1331 (July 21, 1952) uprising, formed under the slogan “Death or Mossadegh” in support of the great leader of the Iranian people, Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh, and against the Shah\u2019s dictatorship, became a symbol of the Iranian nation\u2019s resistance to tyranny. The founding of the National Council of Resistance of Iran on the same day in 1981 is the historical continuation and evolution of that anti-dictatorship path.<\/p>\n

In Tehran<\/strong>, resistance units displayed a banner on the Jenah Expressway, featuring Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the NCRI, with the slogan:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Iranian Resistance has kept Mossadegh\u2019s flag raised as the symbol of the fight for freedom against dictatorship.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Karaj<\/strong>, on the Tehran<\/strong>\u2013Qazvin<\/strong> freeway, a banner of the leader of the Resistance, Mr. Massoud Rajavi<\/a>, was installed with the slogan: \u201cIf Mossadegh were alive today, he would be a comrade of our bloody resistance.\u201d<\/p>\n
