NCRI-FAC (@iran_policy) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/iran_policy\/status\/1932740009657778230?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 11, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The prosecution also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-resistance\/demonizing-mek\/apa-book-exposes-iran-regimes-psychological-warfare-against-resistance-with-child-soldiers-allegations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recycled long-standing accusations<\/a>, alleging that PMOI disclosures about Iran\u2019s nuclear program facilitated the assassinations of scientists. <\/span>\u201cBy passing information to foreign services, they caused the martyrdom of our nuclear experts,\u201d one official told the court.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">At the same time, prosecutors cited decades-old resistance publications as evidence of intent to overthrow the regime. <\/span>\u201cFrom the first day until now, they have declared that their goal is the overthrow of the Islamic Republic,\u201d Maddah said, pointing to 1980s issues of the PMOI\u2019s magazine as proof. Yet in the same breath, he claimed the organization had acted as a \u201ccontractor\u201d for states ranging from Saddam Hussein to Israel \u2014 a contradiction that underscored the political, rather than judicial, nature of the proceedings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The regime\u2019s judiciary also tried to elevate the stakes by labeling <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/iranian-resistance-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PMOI activities<\/a> as \u201cifsad fil-arz\u201d (corruption on earth), a charge that carries the death penalty. The shrillness of the rhetoric betrayed a leadership rattled by the movement\u2019s resilience and growing appeal, especially among Iran\u2019s younger generation.<\/span><span
